Icing with American Buttercream
Icing American Buttercream! American's most popular buttercream is quite different than the typical meringue style of buttercream. For one, the outside dries and hardens slightly, forming a thin shell. Because of this hardening quality, the finishing stages of icing and texturing it can differ from other buttercreams. Susan shows you a couple methods of icing and adding texture to American Buttercream. This a sweet lesson to learn if you're making dense pound cakes or cupcakes!
